Pointe Fittings

Finer Pointes provides truly personal, professional pointe fittings, to best ensure the safety and proper technical development of each dancer. We carry several brands of pointe shoes, including a selection of models carefully chosen to accommodate a full range of foot types. Each fitting involves focus on the dancer's foot anatomy, posture and placement, technical level and other needs, to choose the best possible pointe model and fit. Owner Jenna Little is a highly sought-after pointe fitter, with over 20 years of experience. She combines extensive knowledge of dancewear and shoes with attention to individual dancers' anatomical and technical needs. Each additional fitter is trained personally by Jenna, including both detailed instruction and extensive hands-on demonstration.

Finer Pointes also provides professional fitting in dance shoes for other genres, including tap, jazz, modern, gymnastics and ballroom dance.

In-Studio Dancewear and Shoe Fittings

• We make every attempt to accommodate last-minute requests, but please book at least two weeks ahead whenever possible.
• Please organize your fitting to include at least 7 dancers, if possible.
• Fittings are most easily scheduled during non-store hours (evenings or Sundays), although other times may also be arranged.
• Group fittings typically take at least 1.5 hours for 7 dancers.
• Reminder: studio open houses and picture days are very popular, so please call us ahead so that we can accommodate your request.
